Ha Ha Hakuba (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies on this website. This policy explains what they are, which ones we set, and what you can do about them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember something about your visit — that you are signed in, or what you have entered so far — between one page and the next.
2. The cookies we set
Every cookie this site sets is strictly necessary. We set no analytics, advertising or preference cookies. Blocking any of the cookies below does not reduce what the site offers; it stops the booking form working.

3. A cookie we depend on but do not set
Cloudflare Turnstile. Our booking form, sign-in, registration and password-reset pages are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which confirms a form is being submitted by a person rather than an automated program. It may store a cookie or a similar token on your device to do that.
It is not ours — it belongs to Cloudflare, Inc. and is handled under their privacy policy. It is also not optional: a browser or extension that blocks it makes booking, signing in, registering and resetting a password impossible to submit, and the message you would see is that the spam check did not complete.
4. Analytics and advertising
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. No Google Analytics, no advertising network, no tracking pixels.
If we introduce any of them, we will update this policy and the table above before the cookie is placed on your device, and where the law requires consent we will ask for it first.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you accept or reject cookies, delete cookies already stored, and block cookies from particular sites.
Please note what section 2 says, though: the cookies we set cannot be replaced. They are what makes booking, signing in and resetting a password work at all. If your browser or a privacy extension blocks them, those parts of the site will not function, and there is no alternative way for us to provide them online.
If that happens, please contact us and we will take your booking directly.
6. Other cookies on this site
Our website is built with WordPress and Elementor, and uses a translation plugin to offer English, 繁體中文 and 日本語. These may set cookies of their own that are not listed above. We will add any that we find to this policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. Updated versions are posted here with the date of revision.
